Daily tour program

 

- Sunday - Day 1 - Welcome to Switzerland

Arrival in Zürich Airport.

Meet up with the transfer men at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

After check in enjoy rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight in Zürich.

 

- Monday - Day 2 - Zurich City tour and then Rhine Falls - (B)

In the morning, your driver guide will meet you at your hotel and take you on a introductory tour of the city,
Visit Rhine Falls waterfalls, a spectacular natural forest, and then spend the afternoon discovering Zurich’s most popular attractions, enjoy beautiful sceneries.

The Rhine Falls is the largest waterfall in Switzerland, Europe.

150 metres (490 ft) wide and 23 metres (75 ft) high,

Enjoy stunning views and amazing photo opportunities.

After the tour return to your hotel, and enjoy rest of the day at leisure.

- Tuesday - Day 3 -  Zürich to Mt. Pilatus  - (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel
Meet up with the tour and depart from Zürich on a scenic drive through the countryside to Lucerne.  On the way,  there will be stops to visit small charming towns and villages,  upon arrival in Kriens you will enjoy panoramic gondolas and the aerial cable-way to the summit of Mt. Pilatus.   Upon arrival, check into your Mt. Resort and enjoy rest of the day at leisure, why not go on a hike on a secure path and enjoy amazing Alpine views.

Dinner provided in the hotel.

Overnight in Mt. Pilatus.

- Wednesday - Day 4 - Mt. Pilatus to Lucerne - (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel
Start the with one of a kind travel on the world's steepest cogwheel railway winds up through lush meadows carpeted with Alpine flowers, past sparkling mountain streams and fascinating rock faces. Arrival in Alpnachstad,  change to Public train for another ride to Lucerne.
After arrival,  continue your tour with an ROTAIR cable ride where you will see spectacular sights of the glacier's deep crevasses and gigantic ice boulders. Upon arrival see the amazing views of the Alps from the sun terrace, visit the Glacier Cave and take a ride with the Ice Flyer chairlift,  cross Europe’s highest suspension bridge, the Cliff Walk! In the late afternoon.

After touring,  return to Lucerne and spend rest of the day at leisure, exploring this charming town.

- Thursday - Day 5 -  Lucerne to Zurich - (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart from Lucerne on a scenic drive to Interlaken ( upon arrival, shortstop for the photo and quick visit,  you will then board the cogwheel train and travel to Jungfraujoch.

Enjoy stunning views of the world-famous triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau,  Once on the top, immerses yourself in the fascinating high-alpine wonderland of eternal ice, snow, and rock. Enjoy  Alpine Sensation tour and visit the Sphinx Observation Terrace and Plateau with amazing views of the peaks, see the Europe’s longest glacier, the Aletsch Glacier.

Arrival in Zurich,  check into your hotel, Overnight stay.

- Friday - Day 6 - Zurich- (B)
Breakfast at the hotel
Enjoy rest of the day at leisure.

- Saturday - Day 7 - Zurich to Paris - (B)
Breakfast at the hotel
Transfer to Zürich Train Station & Depart on a 4 hour train ride from Zürich to Paris.
Arrival in Paris, meet up with the transfer men, transfer to your hotel.
After check in,  enjoy rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Paris.

- Sunday - Day 8 - Paris - (B)
Breakfast at the hotel

In the morning we will continue on the private guided tour to highlights of Paris:

Sites you will visit

Eifel Tower & Trocadéro (photo stop), the Opera house, Notre-Dame (photo stop), Concorde Square, Vendôme Square, the Louvre,

the Seine River banks, the Invalides, Madeleine church, Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe...

We will then enjoy lunch on Eifel tower

Then in the afternoon we will take you to Louvre Museum where you will enjoy a visiting

3 main masterpieces such as The Venus de Milo, The Winged Victory and of course The Mona Lisa painted by Leonardo Da Vinci.

This tour ends at the Louvre. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure.  Overnight in Paris

 

 - Monday - Day 9 - Paris - (B)

- Tuesday - Day 10 - Paris - (B)

- Wednesday – Day 11 – Paris to Avignon - (B)

Transfer to Paris train station

Depart from Paris on a TGV Train to Avignon

Arrival in Avignon, meet up with the transformed, transfer to your hotel

After check in, free time to refresh, then take you on a walking tour of the city

Begin the day with a visit to a French perfumery. Hear about the many ways to produce this major export and try some of the popular fragrances. The aromas are amazing! Next, on to Avignon, the "City of Popes" named after seven popes who reigned there during the 1300s. Admire the Place de l'Horlorge, the city's main square and the vast Palais des Papes (Palace of the Popes), a fortress-like palace that once served as the papal residence. View the Pont d'Avignon, the medieval bridge that's a landmark of the city. Lunch in the historic center on your own before traveling to the Pont du Gard, an ancient Roman aqueduct that crosses the Gardon River dating from 19 AD, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

- Thursday - Day 12 - Fields of Provence, Avignon to Marseilles - (B)

Meet up with the driver guide and enjoy a full day tour exploring the region

Sites you will visit and cover today

Heading south, West pass the Olympic city of Grenoble at the foot of the French Alps on our route to the colorful landscapes of Provence, an inspiration for the early Impressionist painters. Here, Matisse, Van Gogh and Picasso created their masterpieces inspired by the region's incredible beauty and soft light.

Travel through fields of lavender, olive groves and pine forests to the picturesque fortified town of Sisteron, nestled between the mountains and the sea, with its hilltop villages and impressive remains of 14th-century walls.

On our drive to Marseilles, on the way visit Aix en Provence.

Aix was founded in 123 BC by the Roman consul Sextius Calvinus, who gave his name to its springs, following the destruction of the nearby Gallic oppidum at Entremont.

Current archaeological excavations in the Ville des Tours, a medieval suburb of Aix, have unearthed the remains of a Roman amphitheater.

Arrival in Marseille, check into your hotel.

-  Friday - Day 13 - Marseilles - (B)

After breakfast, we will go on a day tour and start at the Port of Marseilles.

Sightseeing tour of Marseilles including the major sites such as Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica and viewpoint, the old port and the seaside road...

12:00 pm Drive to Cassis

12:30 Visit Cassis and lunch in one of the numerous cafes or restaurants facing the harbor

Enjoy a boat tour to see the famous inlets (fiord-like coves)

Panoramic drive overlooking Cassis offering astonishing views on the sea shore

Overnight in Marseilles.

- Saturday - Day 14 - Departure  - (B)

Breakfast at the hotel,

We will meet you at your hotel and provide a transfer to Marseilles Airport.
